Financial Special Forces LLC is a managed futures trading firm focused on providing market exposure to individuals who may lack the capital required for traditional CTA  programs, or who wish to deploy capital in a day-trading capacity without the time or interest to master the underlying complexities themselves.

The name is a tribute to the Principal’s own history: being  forced to learn to think clearly during extreme financial risk. It is a name derived from years of doing with money what very few do, have done, or are willing to do.

Financial Special Forces represents the specialist an investor calls when the financial landscape becomes extreme - knowing they have an experienced advisor who thrives in such conditions and is committed to helping them navigate volatility with precision and clarity, for the sake of seeing them succeed. The firm was founded on the philosophy that success is possible through preparation, patience, and execution - principles long understood in high-performance environments. Financial Special Forces currently focuses on the S&P500 and NASDAQ100 index markets, with future plans to offer trading programs within the metals, agriculture, oil, and currency markets to better position the firm to offer itself as a resource for hedging efforts to commercial and industrial producers and consumers.

Founder

Financial Special Forces LLC was founded by Edward Hammond, a lifelong entrepreneur and private trader with a background in high-risk environments, real estate investing, and small business mentorship. 

In addition to his broad experience in risk-oriented ventures, Mr. Hammond serves in law enforcement and is a member of a premier Midwestern SWAT team and tactical fugitive apprehension task forces. Planning, situational awareness, and accountability are core principles of his character—principles that directly translate into his approach to trading programs.

While maintaining a priority focus on the administration of futures market trading, Mr. Hammond is continually expanding his advisory education and finance-based credentials. Future goals include registering as a Futures Broker with the NFA, gaining a Registered Investment Advisor license to further support his client base in achieving their conventional investment portfolio goals, becoming a licensed Independent Insurance Broker to best serve clients with life and health insurance needs, and an IRS Enrolled Agent to provide federal level tax advice. His goal is to develop a skill set and presence within in his community that provides his clients, their families, and their networks with total trust in helping develop their financial goals and security.
